Today Prosecutor General Zhakip Assanov and Chairman of the Regional Hub of Civil Service Alikhan Baimenov have signed the memorandum of understanding.

The parties agreed to collaborate on the issues of reforming recruitment and promotion processes, building capacity and studying best international practices in this sphere.  

Alikhan Baimenov mentioned that Astana Regional Hub would continue providing the expert assistance to the endeavors of the Prosecutor General’s Office in terms of introduction of the meritocracy principles when recruiting and promoting staff.   

In its turn, Zhakip Assanov stated that the partnership with the Hub had a great value for his organization, since it would help attract leading international specialists to assist in implementation of the human resources management reforms in the Office. Mr. Assanov underlined that this initiative was a beginning of a long-term cooperation that would proceed with questions of staff evaluation, promotion, motivation and training.  

Since February 2016 the Astana hab has been also working with the Academy of the Law-enforcement Authorities under the Prosecutor General's Office.
